Group Programme

About the Group

This is a Christian recovery group.

You don’t have to be a Christian to attend but we do expect everyone to be respectful and open minded towards the Christian Faith.

The aim of the group is to support our recovery, grow our faith, and develop community.

  • We will make everyone welcome, sharing our thoughts and feelings with each other helpfully, considerately and authentically.
  • We will respect each other’s recovery and safety by not attending under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
  • We will promote group integrity by focussing on the changes we ourselves have to make, rather than telling others what they should think or do.

We believe in:

One God, the Father, who created us and loves us.

One Lord, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins so that we could be forgiven.

The Holy Spirit, the giver of life, who lives in us to strengthen us with God’s love and power for our recovery.

Let us today encourage each other in our recovery and faith:

May God speak to our minds,
Fill our hearts,
and shape our wills,
So that we can have ‘life in all its fullness’ though his love.
